Friend Eric "[profile] scud_o" Rampson's first issue of his comic is done.

Check it out or I'll...do something...clever...to you.

Damn it.

THE COMIC IS HERE.

You should also friend him on general principle. He doesn't post that often, but when he does, his fiction is superb.
[profile] scud_o is back.
Go and read. Make him stay this time.
I particularly love this one.

Current Sir Reginald art update:

[livejournal.com profile] jimmahgee = Has had original Sir Reg story written for him to draw
[livejournal.com profile] andyluke = We're coordinating a new story for him to draw
[livejournal.com profile] the_crowchan = Am writing original story for her to draw
[livejournal.com profile] chuckdawg = Has laid claim to illustrating the first Sir Reginald story
[livejournal.com profile] grafunkel = Has laid claim to illustrating
the Man-X story
[livejournal.com profile] mearn4d10 = Is working on "Perspectived Sir Reginald" piece (whatever that means)

EDIT: [livejournal.com profile] scud_o = Will be doing a film version of the Man-X story
[livejournal.com profile] fairyarmadillo = Will be doing a photoplay I will write for her, starring her lovely [livejournal.com profile] locura_insomnio

Anybody else I'm missing?
Who was it that said they wanted to do a Sir Reginald photo project?

Want a piece of the action? Nothing will be rejected, even if your art is as bad as mine.

Let me know if you want to lay claim to a previously written story or if you want an original one. If you want the latter, let me know what format you want it written in, i.e. five pages, one released each day; comic strip format; one big silly splash page; et cetera.

Someday maybe we'll get to anthologize these, in the manner of Project: Superior and the like.

FLY, MONKEYS, FLY!

[livejournal.com profile] scud_o wants feedback, then it's feedback he gets.

He's an incredibly good writer, but he's been getting in a bit of a rut lately (sounds like me, truth be told) and so he wanted me to push him. As such, I'm his currently his "WRITE, BITCH, WRITE!" bitch, and I gave him a challenge to shoot for 1000 words, give or take a hundred, in a style he rarely, if ever, works in.

He posted the results at such an odd time that it got swallowed by all the LJ entries I get every day.

To make up for my horrible oversight, here's a link to his little shortfic.

Read it and comment.
If you've got time, rummage through his previous stuff.

He can be damn good, this Son of Ramp.
I still expect great things out of him.

A little while back, my friend Eric Rampson ([livejournal.com profile] scud_o) presented the following writing assignment:

All right, writers, write me a story!
Use the word "algebra"!
Use the word "cadence"!
Use the word "mission"!

For a 27 point bonus, use the phrase "...feels like cupcakes..."!

Oh, and try to work in a new genre (so no cybernetic love-gods with tri-lobed brains, Mr. sTone)!

So, I give to you and to him my fucking story. Now bite me. )

Question.

Why aren't you reading [livejournal.com profile] scud_o's LiveJournal?

It's full of Great Writing(tm).

If you don't start, I'll kick you. Through the computer. I can do that, you know.
I'd like you all to welcome another member of The B.W.A. (tm)* {see entry title}; one E.Rampson, better known in the land of LJ as:

[livejournal.com profile] scud_o

He's using his account for some lovely flash fiction, great stuff, I particularly love his most recent Mr. Dudley, Peter, Pete story.

I've known him for...fuckhell, ten years now. He kicks ass.
Read his journal and befriend it, for it will bring you nuggets of joy, just like poop, only not as small, not as brown, and better tasting.

No guarantees about the smell, though.

READ!
