Can I just say how much I love the barter culture? I recently put up a request for a bowling-ball on the local Craigslist–Nadja’s making a gazing-ball for the back yard–and was happy to hear that a person was willing to go swapsies for it.

Unrelated: last night my Tourette's tried to make me break one of our commemorative Apollo 13 glasses. It failed. Maybe it's still worn out from making me sprain my ankle. Or maybe it's saving its energy for when we have to paint the house this summer. Ladders are the mortal enemy of Tourette's.
