"Condoleeza Rice was today at the heart of the US Administration's escalating battle with a former CIA head and Washington's most revered journalist over who should shoulder the blame for failing to anticipate the 9/11 attacks.
The State Department has admitted that a review of records has shown that George Tenet, the then CIA director, did brief Dr Rice and other top officials on July 10, 2001, about the looming threat from al-Qaeda.
This appears to undermine comments made by Dr Rice to reporters this week when she claimed not to remember any such meeting. She added that it was “incomprehensible” that she ignored terrorist threats two months before the September 11 attacks" -- The Australian, Oct. 04, 2006

CONDOLEEZZA RICE
I'm sure y'all remember Katherine Harris, who all but guaranteed GWB's theft of the 2000 election?

------------------

"In an interview with the Florida Baptist Witness on August 24, Harris stated that if voters do not elect Christians, then they would be endorsing the legislation of sin. U.S. Rep. Katherine Harris told [them] that...the nation's founding fathers did not intend the country be "a nation of secular laws."

"If you are not electing Christians, tried and true, under public scrutiny and pressure, if you're not electing Christians then in essence you are going to legislate sin. They can legislate sin. They can say that abortion is alright. They can vote to sustain gay marriage. And that will take western civilization, indeed other nations because people look to our country as one nation as under God and whenever we legislate sin and we say abortion is permissible and we say gay unions are permissible, then average citizens who are not Christians, because they don't know better, we are leading them astray and it's wrong."

Harris also described the separation of church and state as a "lie we have been told" to keep religious people out of politics, and stated that "God is the one who chooses our rulers." She ended her interview by implying that Christians have more of a responsibility than non-Christians, who "do not know any better," in making political decisions regarding issues such as civil rights and stem cell research.

Even big-time Republicans are calling her out on this one.
Even Jeb Bush doesn't think she can get re-elected.

See what happens when you take massive illegal campaign donations from defense contractors?
See what happens when you lie to select a President?
See what happens when KARMA catches up with you?  ;D
