So I don't get told I'm only picking on Palin:

Dear John Mccain,

DO NOT PEDDLE YOUR PRECIOUS WARES IF WE CAN EASILY PROVE THEY'RE FAKE.

Love,

People Who Very Severely Dislike You
NO, GENTLEMEN, YOU LIE.

Just give me their addresses.

I'd like to visit them.

I'd like to call Karl Rove a douchebag to his face. I'll even give him a list of reasons why I'm doing it.

Oh, and seen in so many places, here's some info about Sarah Palin from a woman who lives in the town she's mayor of.

The town that's ONLY TWICE THE SIZE OF THE TOWN I GREW UP IN.

"...as mayor, Palin continued to inject religious beliefs into her policy at times. "She asked the library how she could go about banning books," he says, because some voters thought they had inappropriate language in them. "The librarian was aghast." That woman, Mary Ellen Baker, couldn't be reached for comment, but news reports from the time show that Palin had threatened to fire Baker for not giving "full support" to the mayor." -- Time magazine

Remember, kids, that your government knows who best who can and cannot kill and who is allowed to die.

I'm anti-death penalty, period, but this sort of thing really pisses me off.

I'm uncomfortable with people in power arguing about where the execution line is, especially when it becomes a clear constitutional issue that's being beaten up by politicians who want to seem "hard" on a particular crime.

Isn't one of the primary arguments for capital punishment the improperly-invoked "eye for an eye" principle? Shouldn't we be keeping execution for murder? Are you willing to say that you believe child rape is worse that murder, or the same, or less horrible?

Keep them in jail forever, trapped, and with no chance of leaving ever ever.

Don't do this political one-upmanship regarding which crime the government can kill you for.

What the hell, Nancy?
Weren't you supposed to protect us from
this fucking Bush administration bullshit?

[personal profile] fairyarmadillo has reminded me that I didn't point out how to contact others:

Blackwater "Security" Company finally kicked-out of Iraq, by Iraq.
Compare articles, it's very interesting.

A few years and a few killings too late, don't you think?

Still, better now than never.

Also, shut up, Condoleeza. Just shut up. If you were serious about investigating them, you'd have done so years ago. You're probably just upset that the Iraqi government seems to have briefly grown a tiny pair of balls. Let's hope that after these fall off, the next ones will be bigger.
