Also, there's some follow-up to the entry I posted about a girl being killed--and her boyfriend severely beaten--after being attacked for dressing like a "goth".

"There were goths from the huge Whitby Goth weekend at the court house standing in silent protest.
I spent the weekend in Whitby and it was sobering to see her face, a lot, she was well liked and quite well known in her area (I may have seen her at Whitby but I don't know). It was also good to see the community pull together and take a stand, proud and sensible that we don't need to put up with this treatment." -
