When I say, "Did you just say this is a call from the Republican Majority? Yeah, that's not even funny. Please take me off this call list."
Do not say, "So the same for Mrs. Sara Stone, then?"
That will lead me to tell you, rather pointedly, that I WOULD RATHER GARGLE MY OWN PISS THAN VOTE REPUBLICAN. And that will be a very gentle and quiet rebuke by my standards.
The first thing I say, telemarketing people, is always polite and your chance to leave me alone.
Take it.
