Feb. 20th, 2008 10:05 amI'm currently working on a Sir Reginald story that really doesn't want to fit together and also a new Fuckbrain Comix, but for now let's hear from serial killer Edmund Kemper.
I think that the most fascinating thing about people like this is how matter-of-fact they are, and how they think that they've got themselves and society figured out. I'm not talking the sort of "I'm wise and you're fools" bullshit that Charles Manson peddles, I'm talking about a guy who almost makes sense sometimes just before his logic and explanations completely break down.
It seems to me that he thinks he understands himself and why he did the things he did, but that it's just out of our reach.
Sadly, in interviews like this I never hear the question that I want to ask these people.
"What do you think we see when we look at you and how is that different from what you see?"
