I’ll try to get some writing up soon…
I’ve been in Chicago for a few days, and the days before that were busy, and now my brother Matthew and his boyfriend Todd are staying in the guest bedroom for a few days, but they’re both sick, so it sucks, ‘cause they’re not as snarky as usual.
I feel like watching a movie.
I think I will.
Thanksgiving was on my birthday this year. Or vice versa. In any event, I’m twenty-eight now.
Gimme a second with that one.

So, included in the Fat Loot ™ from my birthday were included the following:
MONTY PYTHON’S MEANING OF LIFE (2 disc special edition) (from Joe, Sara’s brother, and his family)
THE ADVENTURES OF BUCKAROO BANZAI ACROSS THE 8th DIMENSION (also from Joe, et al)
MEMENTO (2-disc edition, from Sara’s dad and his girlfriend)
Nice padded headphones from Sara’s mother and stepfather
Lowe’s giftcard to help us get our remaining two bookshelves (we’ve already more-than-filled the three 8-foot ones we have now)
And from my darling Sara? Two ROCKSTAR gifts:
FOGARTY’S COVE, a CD by the late Stan Rogers
And
THE BIRD PEOPLE IN CHINA, a DVD by Takashi Miike, one of the most beautiful films ever…
So, yeah, I’ve been busy. Oh, and Sara’s Aunt Bunny fed my need for plastic toys with – I shit you not – a plastic, light-up, wind-up spinning Dreidel, which plays two different “Authentic Jewish Songs” through its tinny little insides.
Life is good.
