As of right now, I have two-and-a-half people working on Sir Reginald adaptations, or on new Sir Reg works that I've written specifically for them.

(The half is you, Chuck D. You still in?)

Currently I have two people working on five-page new stories, and 1/2 working on an adaptation.

I'd like to get more.

Ultimately, the goal is to collect them as an anthology, or a short-series of individual issues. If you're an up-and-coming artist, a draw-for-fun person, or anything in-between or even outside of those descriptions, and you're interested in either converting a pre-written Sir Reg story into a few pages of comic, or whether you'd like a new one written for you, please let me know.

I'm ridiculously excited about this possibility.

Who is wondering who he loaned THE QUITTER to...
You won't believe what [livejournal.com profile] lil_deth_cukie did!

SHE DREW ME IN A BEE SUIT! HOLY CRAP!

She is made of cool, and if you do not read her comix I will play hockey with part of your brain.

An important part.

On Saturday, Sara's family arranged to get me in to see a traveling art exhibition at Columbia College in Chicago called Girl Power! Shojo Manga!

Holy shit, was it incredible. It had ORIGINAL art from Osamu Tezuka to CLAMP represented.
Dead brilliant.

We got to go in, even though it wasn't open, because Sara's mother and stepfather told them I was "in the business"--i.e. editing for DrMaster and writing articles for Shonen Jump. As such, there was nobody in there while we were, so I busted out my camera.

The collection of photos I took are over here in a set at Flickr. For the best view, obviously, click on ALL SIZES and then choose ORIGINAL.

Damn. It was a small room, yet we spent 50 minutes in there...
