Why I should not be allowed to make drawings of words on the board while playing Scrabble:

My MUXTAPE. Nobody has yet named the theme.

"You've changed things... forever. There's no going back."

Dr. Horrible, Dr. Horrible, telephone call for Dr. Horrible...

Overwrought and pretentious, occasionally beautiful, ultimately not worth the time.

1 dollar DVD of a Korean knock-off anime that...just...yeah, I'm glad I was not of sound mind when I watched it. Terrifyingly odd and choppy and hilarious.

Finally convinced Sara to give this a try. She was weirded out by the first epidode. Tips on how to keep her going on it? I'm sure I can convince her to watch the second episode. Well...I think I can, I think I can, I think I can.

This movie sucked so hard that I had to buy a copy of it. Only an hour long, features a scene where a woman's hands are cut off by an ax...except they're clearly mannequin hands that are already separated from her and are only just gently nudged from her wrists by the ax.

Finally convinced Sara to watch this and she loved it. She instantly demanded to know more about the creature. She's pragmatic like that.

I love this film, but it's a really poor choice to show to friends who have been drinking and stuff. Not a party film. I'm dumb.

Nazis, Nazi analogues, and some of the best out-of-context panels ever. I love reading golden age comics.

So well written. So pretty. So good.

What it says on the tin.

Fascinating book from 1936 that covers everything from the Tongs to the Laundry Workers Alliance to Chinese Newspapers to Gambling.

Every time I listen to this I think I like the movie a little more. Which is good, cause at first I just thought the movie was okay.

It's lucky for you that we're friends.

God I love driving around listening to this at 2am.

Same sense of wonder every time I put it in.

Okay, go home. Go home to your bloody gophers.

Love,

b
