Stop bitching about the things you're reading. Stop it.
Yes, express yourself about how you feel a characterization doesn't seem right, or that a storyline was weak or incongruous, but remember that some of these books have FORTY-FIVE YEARS OF CONTINUITY to deal with. Not everything is going to be like it once was, and some of us like that.
And for heaven's sake, stop jumping into forums and so on and bitching about things that happened ten years ago that you're still "angry" about.
You see, you can stop reading them. It's surprisingly easy. You don't NEED to own every issue of Uncanny X-Men for your life to be complete.
Remember, these writers and pencilers and inkers aren't just working for you, they're working for their company AND for themselves.
