Jul. 29th, 2009 08:35 amAs several of you out there know, I love original art. It's especially cool when it's from the children of co-workers. :D
The father of Jordan, who drew the first piece, pays her a little for every piece she draws. On the wall behind his desk you can actually watch her skills progress, and it's really fun.
Colleen was 12 when she drew hers. I'll have to ask Jordan's father for her age when she drew Stardom. It's less than 12, I know that. She was about 10, it seems.
I know that I paid Colleen for hers, but I can't remember if I paid Jordan. Yet another thing to ask her father today!
(PS - I know that the full names of the kids are on the art, but please only refer to them by their first names, so as to keep their internet footprint small. :)
Anyway...
ENCOURAGE ART!
