This is all you get from me today, as I've been busy getting other stuff prepped and doing real-life stuff that sucks.

Anyway, via [profile] donchep, Bill Moyers justifying the existence of the word PWN when being ambushed by a Faux News "reporter."

"More than 11,000 images were collected using software that identifies child pornography by tracking patterns in the pixels of the images, Cuomo's office said."

Somebody wanna explain to me what the hell that means? Tracking patterns in the pixels? Are they just talking bullshit?

If they're not, are these searches going to turn up false positives on flat-chested women? What about shaved twinks? What about pictures of your baby?

What is this software?
Where is it being run from?
What files is it being run on?
Is it scanning your outgoing e-mails?
Is it zooming through your incoming e-mails?
Is it checking everything of yours that those ISP's can get their hands on?

I mean, I see and applaud what they're trying to do, but...how far into our lives are they going?

How far is too far?

Perhaps I'm being silly, to you.

Do you not mind because you've got nothing to hide?

DISCUSS.

As always, if you have an opinion that differs from somebody else's, keep a civil tongue in your head when discussing / debating with that person or those threads will be frozen or deleted.
