COMIC BOOK READERS! And everybody else who knows where a comic shop is!

A suave fellow by the name of Vito Delsante has his first Big Three (Marvel, DC, and Image) comic book coming out TODAY.

It's Superman #676, it's a standalone issue, and you should really buy a copy.

This is the kind of thing that can really kick-start a comic book creator's career.

The moral of the story is as follows: GO BUY A COPY OF SUPERMAN #676. 

Every issue of this comic that gets sold is another shot in the arm for Vito's chances to get another go at working for DC. 

As somebody who's been doing their damnedest to bust into the comic field, I understand the importance of this event for Vito.

If you can spare three bucks, if you read comics anyway, even if you just wanna do a good thing for a good guy, pick this up.

I joined a  fucktacular community called jensartnight.

You should go groove on the funky, fucked-up, holy shit art that happens there. There are a lot of great artists to friend from there.

Fair warning, nearly all of it is NSFW.

That doesn't stop me from putting it on my friends list, though, since...well, I don't do LJ from any place where I'll get in trouble for viewing things that are NSFW.

I encourage you to do the same: join the community and don't do LJ where you'll get in trouble.

Yeah, we all know that the potential for it to be SHIT is MASSIVE...but I'm stunningly un-disgusted by the first preview poster of the DBZ live-action movie due out next year.

Set expectations to zero and enjoy the ride, I say.
