Riffing off of an entry by [personal profile] cleanskies, I offer the following:

Reasons to spit on anybody who mentions your weight in the same breath as the BMI:

"Body mass index (BMI) or Quetelet Index is a statistical measure of the weight of a person scaled according to height. It was invented between 1830 and 1850 by the Belgian polymath Adolphe Quetelet during the course of developing "social physics"."

It's 157 years old and doesn't take into account about 17,333 different factors. Fuck it.
Well, it's another Toys In The Bookstacks, but I think that only the geekiest of geeks (koff*[profile] gdwessel*koff*[profile] scud_o*koff) will find it even vaguely funny.

"Listen, Chinaman, my name is BARON Zemo, not CAPTAIN Ne--oh, just get it over with. Life's not worth living now that Steve's gone..."
