Jan. 4th, 2007 09:29 amI've got some invitations (with credit "gifts") for anybody who thinks they might want an account at TV Torrents.
It's absolutey my favorite place for grabbing TV shows that you've missed (US and UK), as shows get uploaded mere hours after they air, usually about three. They have running shows as well as a big archive of old shows.
It does, however, run on a credit system, which means it can take a while before you really get good speed. The more credits you have, the faster you get to download things. For example, if you download a 340 Meg file, it deducts that from your account. When you're seeding, though, each Meg you upload credits your account for 1.5 Megs. The more you give, the faster you get new stuff. It's a way of rewarding people who keep seeding files to keep them alive.
It's a good system.
The moral of my story is that I've got 80G.creds hanging around, with is a nice amount, and I can send out invites and give you some of my creds to get you started if you want in on it. Obviously I'll only be able to give out so many of my creds without screwing myself, but let me know.
Strictly first-come-first served. I'll reoffer when I earn more creds.
