"Up and Out!"

So.
Tomorrow I send off what is kinda-sorta-I-guess my finished version of “Receiver.”

I left it pretty much as it was, with a few cosmetic changes.
I noticed that I swear as much in my writing as I do in my life.

Early tomorrow morning, it and a twelve dollar entry fee will be in the mail to WRITER’S DIGEST, to enter a contest.

My first official submission on a professional level.

I keep thinking I should be nervous, but I’m really quite excited.

I can’t wait to get my first rejection letter.
