Nothing To Do With My Writing
Got my cat, Isis, back tonight.
Since we couldn’t afford driving an hour and a half to Purdue for a behavioral therapist for a long time, we had to get her front paws declawed.
I hate declawing, under any circumstances, but she has been lashing out so much…and we WILL NOT get rid of her.
So I cried when I dropped her off yesterday, and cried when we picked her up today.
She is wearing a pink bandage around her neck that will continue to distribute a narcotic into her system until Saturday morning.
She seems stoned and easily startled, and clearly does not understand.
Just because this was the only choice does *NOT* mean I have to like it, or myself for doing it.

CURRENT MUSIC: “Unnatural City” by Kenji Kawai, PATLABOR 2 soundtrack
LAST MOVIE: Rewatched Lost in Translation with friend who hadn’t seen it, got halfway through A TALE OF TWO SISTERS, Korean film
that is scaring all the pee out of me. Will finish it tonight, in the middle of the night, in the dark.
